Job Introduction
A hands on events manager responsible for the planning and delivery of a wide range of events, with a primary focus on weddings.
The event manager is responsible for all elements of planning the event from initial contact with the organiser, supplier liaison, internal planning and on the day delivery. In addition, the role will support the sales process for the venue by undertaking venue visits for prospective wedding parties and conference organisers.
The role will form an integral part of a busy sales and events office which delivers over 200 events per year.

- Responsible for the consistent and successful planning and delivery of a portfolio of events.
- Work with the wider sales and events team to achieve agreed targets and KPIs.
- Work within a performance and delivery oriented events culture within the Farnham Castle sales and events team
- Support the sales and events manager and senior events manager in the smooth running of the department, by taking responsibility for a range of additional tasks, including supplier liaison, rota planning and other tasks as required.

•Must be able to organise him/herself and others effectively.
•Must be competent in Microsoft Office and have a good understanding of database management.
•Will have excellent communication skills, verbally both on the phone and in person, and written.
