Lime Venue Portfolio is the largest collection of unusual, sporting & cultural venues throughout the UK & Ireland. A division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, Lime Venue Portfolio provides sales and marketing support for the C&E business.

 

More about the role:

We are currently recruiting for Sales Co-ordinator for The Imperial War Museum in Manchester. The Museum offer excellent spaces for a range of events including conferences, dinners, drinks receptions and parties. As Sales Co-ordinator you will process sales enquiries, working as part of the local and national sales team to increase and enhance revenues. You will also be responsible for ensuring all sales administration is accomplished effectively & accurately in order to provide a seamless handover to the operations team. Proactively selling the facilities by various techniques, meeting and exceeding customer expectations. 

 

  • Ensuring all enquiries & proposals are dealt with and providing best value options to customers while maximising sales opportunities, within agreed response times.
  • Ensuring accurate enquiry coordination, whilst maintaining accurate records Delphi system.
  • Building strong relationships with key agency accounts and portfolio venues to maximise opportunities.

 


     

Who you are:

  • At least 1 year’s experience within a hotel, venue or MICE agency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate and confident in MS Excel; Word and Outlook
  • Ability to inspire customer trust and confidence
  • Ability to deal both on the phone and in electronic communications effectively with clients and venues and to gain support of internal colleagues
  • Passionate about hospitality, sales and customer service
  • Ability to multi-task, think fast and to deliver solutions to customer requirements
  • Ability to inspire customer trust and confidence
  • Self starter, drive, ambition
  • Ability to work to strict pressured deadlines
  • To be an excellent ambassador for venue and Lime Venue Portfolio brand
