Job Introduction
We are on the hunt for a driven, commercial C& E Sales Development Manager to manage a group of venues. Delivering excellent execution of all proactive and reactive sales strategies. Assisting Operations Directors and General Managers in the support of all venue sales team members and support the teams.
More about the role:
- Assisting in the setting up of revenue targets across each venue.
- Monitoring and assisting in forecast production
- Support & driving the conversion of hot bookings for each of the venues
- Supporting the creation and execution of key selling strategies
- Keep abreast of market activity to remain competitive in the industry
- Working closely with venue sales teams to implement KPI’s
- Be a major contributor to the group Sales and Marketing plan and all group sales initiatives.
- Assisting and Supporting GM’s to implement and manage a motivational sales incentive scheme which targets key business needs.
- Support GMs with annual appraisals and personal development plans
- Support any new venue mobilisations
Who you are:
- Solid track record of sales achievement in the C&B industry through understanding of the market to create revenue opportunities
- Ability to influence, persuade and motivate teams to achieve and exceed sales budget
- Proactive Sales approach and key selling techniques
- Entrepreneurial style of working to be both creative and innovative
- Excellent developed commercial acumen and ability to take calculated risks
- Excellent presentation skills
- Senior management experience within the hospitality industry
- Good understanding and working knowledge of sales systems e.g. Delphi to support venues efficient usage.
- Managing and developing a team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Experience of setting budgets and monitoring performance
