More about the role:

Responsible at the directive of the Security Manager and the operational management of the Support Services & Security Manager for the 24/7 security of clients corporate headquarters, the safety of personnel and products within, the professional reception of clients guest, and the effective front line management of all allocated 14forty employees working within Security and Guest services.

This role will be Mon – Fri (Avrg 50 hrs per week) providing physical security and supporting the development of the cleints House Security Control Room as an information hub supporting 24/7 Traveller support, Incident Management/Escalation, and “Product in Transit” tracking..

 14forty plays a pivotal role not only in the security of the site, but in the efforts to build and develop the clients brand and their customer experience through delivering first class Front of House, Guest and Support Services. 

Effectively to:

 

  • Lead, control and coordinate the activities of the FoH Security team
  • Provide frontline management to the FoH Security team
  • Ensure that the relevant activities and services are planned and delivered to the specified standards, meeting the SLA and targeted KPI’s.
  • Empower the team members to have the ability and commitment to achieve KPI’s, and resolve issues through coaching, training and effective delegation.
  • Ensure the effective utilisation of staff on site proactively deploying resource in accordance with requirements and agreed Service Levels
  • Drive through performance and quality improvements to meet agreed targets
  • Proactively plan and engage with other departments/areas to ensure a collaborative approach and effective use of resource and resolution of issues.
  • To coordinate and oversee the secure shipment and transportation of client assets as directed by the Client
  • Ensure conformance to standards for EHS and Security
  • Write, update, and maintain agreed SoP’s and Assignment Instructions

Who you are:

  • Organised, systematic, and process orientated.
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience in managing teams and driving performance.
  • Ability to act as coach and mentor for individuals and teams.
  • Must hold an SIA licence or be willing to apply for one (Essential).
  • If not already held, must be willing to apply for a CCTV licence (Essential).
  • Must be willing to study towards a qualification in people /team and Security management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written) (Essential).
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems and MS packages (Essential).
  • Able to write Reports and Communications for dissemination within the business (Essential).
  • Ability to assimilate data/information from multiple sources (Essential).
  • IOSH qualification (Desired).
  • Experience of working in Corporate Manned Guarding or similar uniformed service (Preferred).
  • Security related qualification/experience (Preferred).
  • Knowledge and experience regarding the application of structured problem solving methods.
  • Knowledge and experience of HR processes, (recruitment, absence management, performance management, grievance, disciplinary etc.), able to promote good employee relations.
  • Track record as change agent and of implementing best practice.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop people and work within a team environment with a proven track record of leading high performance teams.
  • Understanding of “the Customer Experience” and capable of adding value to the Front of House role
  • Familiarity with Concierge-styled security with experience gained in Customer Services
