The secret of the success here is the combined ambition and professionalism of all parties work as a truly ‘powerful partnership’ to deliver world class experiences at Aston Villa FC.

Villa Park, one of the world’s oldest football stadiums, based in the centre of Birmingham has been the home ground of AVFC since it was opened in 1897 whilst the club has a history which dates back to 1874.  Currently AVFC are enjoying their return to the Premiership.

In addition to football, Villa Park hosts several other historically significant sporting events including the World Cup and the European Championships in 1996.

The famous stadium is one of a select few that has staged international fixtures over three different centuries, the first senior international taking place in 1899. In addition, it was a regular venue for FA Cup semi-finals before they were moved to Wembley.

Villa Park also had the honour of hosting the last-ever European Cup Winners’ Cup Final between Italian side Lazio and Spanish club Real Mallorca in 1999, as well as the 2012 FA Community Shield match when Chelsea faced Manchester City and in 2015, two rugby world cups were held at the ground.
