What You’ll Be Doing:
As an AV Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our events run seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, operating, and de-rigging a variety of audio, visual, and lighting equipment for diverse events.
- Providing hands-on technical support to clients on event days, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and venue teams to bring events to life.
- Overseeing and coordinating a casual workforce, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Preparing, loading, and unloading AV equipment safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Maintaining and ensuring the highest standard of equipment presentation.
- Adhering to health & safety regulations and best practices.
- Supporting other departments when needed – we’re a team that works together.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar role in a similar environment
- Strong technical knowledge of audio, visual, and lighting equipment.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering flawless events.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure.
- General IT proficiency.
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
