We're currently recruiting a dedicated Av Technician to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Restaurant Associates on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an AV Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our events run seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up, operating, and de-rigging a variety of audio, visual, and lighting equipment for diverse events.
  • Providing hands-on technical support to clients on event days, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and venue teams to bring events to life.
  • Overseeing and coordinating a casual workforce, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Preparing, loading, and unloading AV equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintaining and ensuring the highest standard of equipment presentation.
  • Adhering to health & safety regulations and best practices.
  • Supporting other departments when needed – we’re a team that works together.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar role in a similar environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of audio, visual, and lighting equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering flawless events.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure.
  • General IT proficiency.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
