Baker
£13.50 per hour
We are looking for an experienced Baker to join our team at our very soon to open Baker’s Room in Unity Place, Milton Keynes.
As an Artisan Baker you must have passion for food, a creative flair.
You will work closely with the Head Baker and the whole Bakery, Pastry, and FOH team to produce and serve outstanding, fresh and high-quality goods.
Ideally you will be a talented individual with at least 2 years of experience within baking, mixing, shaping breads and lamination.
Experience in sourdough making is a plus.
About You:
- Fluent in English, written and spoken;
- Level 2 or 3 Food Safety Certificate;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Eager to expand baking knowledge and work as part of a team;
- At least 2 years of experience as a Baker or Pastry chef.
More about the Role:
- Preparing, cooking, baking, decorating and presenting high bakery goods such as different types of bread, buns, danish pastries, etc. following traditional and modern recipes;
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations. Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen;
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc;
