The NinetyThird is The O2’s exclusive members-only bar and restaurant, offering panoramic views of the arena, contemporary design, and elevated food and beverage service. Positioned at the intersection of fine dining and live entertainment, this venue delivers premium hospitality in a vibrant, music-filled setting.
Purpose
As the Bar & Restaurant Manager for The NinetyThird at the O2, you will take the lead in overseeing all aspects of this premium hospitality outlet. You’ll be responsible for managing and inspiring a dedicated front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service to members and VIP guests before, during, and after events. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional operational skills, and a genuine passion for high-quality food and drink experiences. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere that reflects the high standards of The NinetyThird and elevates the guest experience at one of London’s most iconic venues.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Venue Operations: Lead the day-to-day management of NinetyThird’s bars, restaurant, and lounge to ensure exceptional service, seamless operations, and memorable guest experiences.
- Collaborate with Culinary Teams: Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a high-quality and consistent food and beverage offering that aligns with brand standards.
- Maintain High Standards of Presentation: Ensure all areas of the venue are impeccably set and maintained ahead of every event, upholding the highest quality and brand guidelines.
- Lead and Inspire the Front-of-House Team: Manage and motivate a professional, engaged team that delivers premium service with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
- Foster Team Development: Provide ongoing coaching and training to enhance team skills in guest engagement, upselling, and high-end hospitality service.
- Monitor Financial Performance: Drive profitability through cost control, efficient stock management, and resource planning while keeping track of key financial metrics.
- Utilize Data for Continuous Improvement: Analyse performance data to identify trends, improve operations, and prepare insightful reports for senior management.
- Champion Guest Experience: Lead with a guest-first mindset, ensuring all visitors feel welcome, resolving any service issues with professionalism, and consistently delivering personalized, elevated experiences.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in premium bar or restaurant settings, with a focus on high-end cocktail offerings
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large teams with confidence, empathy, and vision
- Strong track record in operational excellence and delivering standout guest experiences
- Solid grasp of hospitality financials, including KPIs, cost control, and margin management
- Skilled in driving revenue through innovative sales strategies and commercial initiatives
- Passionate about hospitality with a guest-first mindset and problem-solving approach
- Energetic, composed, and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure event environments
