Brand Standard and Training Manager - Hybrid working across the east of England
We have an exciting opportunity for motivated, engaging and proactive individual to join our retail team where you will support and help us provide high quality operational standard auditing across multiple ESS retail formats (Cafes / Bars / Mess Retail / Stores / Vending).
The role would also involve a high level of training & coaching (during support / engagement visits). The training element would include; facilitating manager inductions (retail element), mobilisation support (retail element) training based on local evaluations and general training workshops. As part of this role; heat mapping modelling will also be a key responsibility (as regards developing the sites retail plan and future provision).
Key Responsibilities:
- To promote and lead a safety culture and ensure your team are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all times
- To be a role model as regard Compass behaviours at all times (ESS Way)
- To carry out set MPRO5 / branded audits across a geographic area
- To use data and Management information systems e.g. unit Dashboards, EPOS, CPOS & Nexus together with your knowledge & experience to develop & implement plans to improve general profitability
- To ensure that key data, league tables and other branded comms are disseminated appropriately
- To ensure that OD / GM stakeholders within the ESS business are regularly engaged, with clear concise and accurate information
- To organise regular retail training sessions (as required in line with maintaining brand standards)
- To facilitate retail management training (new starter and performance management) at appropriate times as and when needed
- To ensure that a positive and competitive culture is cultivated across formats, striving for the very best KPI results
- To facilitate heat mapping activities across a geographical area (in conjunction with operations)
- To ensure all company, client & legal requirements, processes and procedures are implemented effectively.
• Previous retail management experience leading and inspiring retail teams to deliver results
• Experience of working within brand guidelines to deliver results
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation
