Location: Twycross Zoo (on-site)
Salary: £20,123.10 per annum (pro-rata)
Contract Type: Part-Time, 30 hours per week, Permanent
Working Hours: 30 hours, 5 days over 7, predominantly Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 2:00pm

About the role:
We're seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Business Administrator to provide essential administrative, financial, and operational support for our catering operations at Twycross Zoo. This part-time role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-profile visitor environment while contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Managing cash and processing daily takings accurately
Completing financial and operational reports
General HR administration support
Supporting the Kitchen team with administrative tasks
Maintaining filing systems, managing documentation, and handling enquiries
Assisting with payroll and other finance-related processes as required
Supporting ad-hoc projects and contributing to process improvements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience of working in a high-volume, busy environment
At least 2 years’ administration experience
Strong cash-handling experience
Proven ability to manage and streamline processes
Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
A proactive, positive approach and a collaborative team spirit
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant area
