Business Development Executive

Feedr is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and outgoing person to join our Sales team. You’ll be a valuable member of the team, working to drive new lead generation, test sales messaging, refine our value proposition, and more. You will work with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive business, grow the sales pipeline and ensure the company's goals and targets are met.

Feedr operates a hybrid office and home working model. We would also consider UK-based remote-first candidates for this role, with occasional travel to our office in central London.

More about the role:

  • You will be responsible for driving high-quality leads every day (primarily through emails, social media, and calls), generating first appointments for the Sales team, and supporting through the full sales cycle.
  • You will research prospects and identify key decision-makers, making the best use of prospecting tools such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, our expansive CRM, online research and any other innovative ways you can think of to create key prospect lists.
  • You will develop and execute a strong prospecting plan of attack- tailored to the target audience (Enterprise and SME level companies) including email and call scripts with highly personalised, and attention-grabbing messages.
  • You will qualify prospects (inbound and outbound) and guide them through our discovery process, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and supporting them in understanding how Feedr could be just the solution to keep their team happy and hunger-free!.
  • You will work with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure you have the most up-to-date information on the business proposition.
  • We believe Sales & Marketing are like two peas in a pod, that's why you will work alongside our marketing team to run lead nurturing campaigns, automate engagement flows and ensure messaging alignment with all of our social channels - setting yourself up for success.
  • Use our CRM reporting tools to track performance and metrics on outbound activity and share insights across the business.
  • Identify and drive the development of new sales collateral to help prospects understand what Feedr is all about.

Who you are:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in sales development and lead generation.
  • You have a passion for lead generation/prospecting and understand best practices and procedures. Experience using prospecting applications such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Zoominfo is a plus.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced sales environment with a passion to learn and understand the sales funnel process.
  • You have a strong work ethic, are confident at handling objections, are extremely self-motivated and target-driven.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can explain hard concepts in clear, concise language.
  • You’ll possess commercial awareness, constantly seeking new opportunities to generate revenue.
  • You’re driven, intellectually curious, and humble. You are always keen to keep learning and thrive working in a close-knit team.
  • You’re open to giving and receiving feedback in a constructive way.
  • You’re tech and data-savvy and are comfortable working with a variety of systems and analysing data.
  • You’re passionate about food tech and Feedr’s mission.
  • You’re organised with extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage your time effectively.
  • Experience using Hubspot would be advantageous.
  • Applicants must be based in the UK and be able to travel to our office in central London. We would consider UK-based remote-first candidates for this role.
