Job Introduction

We are seeking an outstanding Business Development Manager to join our team. Here at Foodbuy we are real believers in innovation and growth, as part of the Business Development team, the Business Development Manager is responsible for growing our revenue and portfolio across Healthcare, Leisure and Education through working with a range of businesses across the UK. You will be growing and nurturing longstanding, successful relationships that will increase the procurement portfolio for Foodbuy. The team is fun, vibrant, dynamic and ambitions with buisness development being the very core of what we do!

 

Working with the procurement team to apply your knowledge to identify business needs and growth to develop the Foodbuy brand. Through a variety of different methods you will be showcasing Foodbuy’s capabilities and how we can benefit any business we partner with.

More about the role:

The key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager includes;

  • Working in conjunction with outsourced telemarketing partners to generate effective leads
  • Effectively use social media and networking events to build pipelines
  • Developing successful, consulting relationships
  • Close new business opportunities to achieve annual sales targets
  • Influencing and engaging key stakeholders
  • Identifying and accumulating market intelligence
  • Be a subject matter expert for procurement

Who you are:

The successful candidate will have expertise in the following:

  • Proven experience in winning new business
  • Able to present ideas and thoughts confidently
  • Experience in one of the following sectors; Healthcare, Education or Leisure
  • Experience in a procurement environment
  • Managing the end to end sales process
  • Engage and influence stakeholders across all levels
