The Royal Armouries & New Dock Hall is the largest dedicated conference, events and Exhibition space in Leeds. Our venue offers world-class facilities for high-profile conferences, conventions, exhibitions, awards dinners and corporate events for up to 2,500 delegates, hosting more than 380 national and international events every year.
We're looking for an enthusiastic Bar Assistant to join our dedicated operations team at The Royal Armouries. As a Bar Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service. Purpose of the role:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to our guests and clients
- To acquire an excellent knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how to prepare them and how they should be presented
- Maintaining an effective bar service with an emphasis on high-quality, efficient service
- Maintaining the bar areas to a high standard of cleanliness
- Receiving and processing payments through the tills
- Setting up the bar areas for events
- To maximise all sales opportunities through upselling techniques
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
