Job Introduction
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Catering Supervisor to help us ensure the smooth running of operations and deliver exceptional customer service for Twycross Zoo on casual basis. Your key responsibilities may include:
- Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
- Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
- Being a responsible key holder
- Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
- Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
- Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
- Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
Our ideal Supervisor will have:
- Previous experience supervising hospitality teams within a similar environment
- Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
- A can-do attitude and be a team player
- Self-motivation and be able to use own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
Getting to Twycross Zoo:
Due to where we are located- own transport is essential. Free parking on site.
Shifts:
Could vary between Monday to Sunday (daytime). Due to the nature of the business, candidates are required to work evenings occasionally.
