Up to £28,118 per annum (DOE)
Monday to Friday role

Please note this is a lone working site. 

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef Manager to join team at Tetrosyl in Rochdale. You will be providing outstanding service to the staff and customers whilst guiding and motivating your team to be the best they can possibly be.

Services provided are breakfast, lunch and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Understanding and delivering all contractual terms.
  • Communicating any onsite client changes to the line manager.
  • Regularly communicating with the client.
  • Completing action plans following client satisfaction surveys.
  • Ensuring all company promotions are correctly implemented.
  • Identifying any additional opportunities and discussing them with the line manager.
  • Analysing and effectively managing all in-unit costs.
  • Monitoring and managing gross profit (GP).
  • Ensuring cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained.
  • Recording and minimising all food wastage.
  • Supporting, training, coaching, and developing the team.
  • Monitoring labour turnover and ensuring the team is fully recruited.
  • Producing and utilising a succession plan.
  • Implementing all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures within the unit and reviewing them as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that all HSE incidents are correctly reported and investigated, with relevant reviews of work procedures.
  • Reporting HSE issues beyond your control to your line manager.
  • Ensuring everyone is trained and adheres to all Health & Safety and Food Safety policies.
  • Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the required standards and portion specifications.
  • Managing the processing of food orders, the receipt, and storage of deliveries.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchens and surrounding working areas.
  • Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
  • Performing other general tasks to support effective food service delivery as reasonably requested.
About You:
  • Previous culinary experience.
  • Previous management experience in a similar role, including client management.
  • A passion for working in a food service environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work positively with others as part of a team.
  • A friendly, helpful, and polite demeanor.
