We’re proud to bring energy, creativity, and care to every match day and event – and we’re looking for a Chef Manager to join our team in Oswestry.

Location: SY10 8NL
Rate of pay: £37,700 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 06:30 - 15:00 (though responsible for 7-day operation so occasional weekend work would be required). 

Key responsibilities
  • Managing team of GAs/Kitchen Assistants to provide busy breakfast and lunch service. Responsible for all aspects of H&S, quality, as well as achieving commercial targets and managing a team of 5

  • Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and timely service for up to Approx. 200 covers per day, canteen style service.

  • Develop and plan menus in line with seasonal availability, customer preferences, and budgetary guidelines, while maintaining variety, nutritional balance, and cost control.
  • Manage staff rotas and scheduling, ensuring appropriate coverage across all services and monitoring working hours to comply with labor regulations and operational needs.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain stock levels, placing timely orders, minimising waste, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team through regular meetings and clear, timely updates to ensure alignment on daily operations, service expectations, and kitchen priorities.
