About the Role
We’re looking for two skilled and motivated Chefs to join our catering team at Longmoor Camp, part of the ESS – Compass Group.
You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals for around 400 Service Personnel, working across two kitchens on-site as part of a strong team of 16. 🍽️
This is a full-time, site-based role offering a balance of early and late shifts in a busy, rewarding environment.
Shift Details
Early Shift: 05:00 – 13:30
Late Shift: 10:30 – 19:00
Pattern: 5 days over 7
Meal Service Times:
Breakfast: 07:00 – 08:00
Lunch: 12:00 – 15:00
Evening Meal: 17:00 – 18:00
Experience and Qualifications
Experience in a previous high-volume catering or chef role – essential
Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) – desirable
Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
