Saturdays & Sundays, 8am–12pm
St Barnabas Hospice is looking for a passionate and talented Chef to join our welcoming team at St Barnabas Hospice. You’ll be preparing fresh, nutritious lunches for our  residents, creating meals that make a real difference to their day.

🍴 What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing delicious, high‑quality meals that delight our residents
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes
- Identifying opportunities to improve the food service
- Listening and responding to resident and customer feedback
- Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food ideas
- Representing Healthcare with a positive and professional attitude
- Monitoring stock and ensuring the kitchen stays well‑supplied
- Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and overseeing kitchen cleanliness
- Ensuring full compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
👩‍🍳 What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for great‑tasting food and exceptional service
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Experience supervising a team
- Previous experience in a similar Chef role
- A valid Food Hygiene certificate
- A flexible, positive, can‑do attitude
