Job Title: Chef
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Retention Bonus: £1,000 (paid on completion of the full RCA)
Contract Dates: 8th July 2026 – 15th December 2026
Hours: 40 hours per week
Number of Roles: 9 Chefs
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (shift-based rota)
Requirement: 24/7 operation, 7 days per week

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and cook high-quality food that meets client and customer expectations
- Support the delivery and development of menus and food concepts
- Identify opportunities to improve food quality and service delivery
- Listen and respond to customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management
- Ensure full compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
- Represent the brand positively within a Defence environment
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You…
- Are passionate about food quality and customer experience
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent (or relevant experience)
- Have experience working as a Chef in a similar environment
- Have experience supervising or supporting team members
- Hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate
- Are flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, operational setting
