We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Services Assistant to join our team within a busy contract catering environment.
You will be at the heart of our operation, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for staff, clients and visitors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, enjoys working as part of a team and has a positive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist with daily staff dining and hospitality services.
- Serve food and beverages to a high standard.
- Maintain clean, tidy and well-presented dining and service areas.
- Replenish food counters, displays and service stations.
- Respond to customer enquiries and assist with dietary and allergen information.
- Ensure tables and dining areas are cleaned and reset throughout service.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
- Support the wider catering team during busy service periods.
- Assist with meetings, events and hospitality functions when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or catering is desirable.
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
