We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join the OurTime team.You will be central in supporting our colleagues deliver the best service to our clients and customers across thousands of sites within the UK&I. Reporting to the Configuration Manager, the Data Analyst will support and configure Infor’s Analytics Platform Birst and Amazon Quick Sights Dashboards for the OurTime system in addition to supporting all things data within the configuration team.
More about the role:
- Working alongside the wider configuration team on the day-to-day activities supporting the OurTime platform with clear priorities and work assignments.
- Writing technical requirements documentation.
- Working as a team to ensure all relevant policies and SLAs are adhered to.
- Generating mapping documents of raw data based on business KPIs.
- Support the Configuration Manager in ensuring all Compass UK&I policies are adhered to.
- Escalate any issues/impact on delivery or BAU state to Configuration Manager.
- Provide Second line support from ticket escalation relating to data.
- Design and implement report/dashboards for end users within the analytics platform (Infor Birst)
- Ability to analyse and resolve technical issues related to Infor and Infor Birst applications.
- Conducting system and software testing to ensure proper functionality.
- Support the data needs of the configuration team to carry out BAU activities.
- Minimize operational impact while achieving the best possible performance and system health.
- Performs analysis and critical thinking required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to ensure operational stability and supportability relating to data systems.
- Design and implement data movement and transformation pipelines within the analytics Birst platform.
- Design processes and algorithms to enhance data quality and reliability
- Adhere to ad-hoc request relating to datasets and analysis of data when required
- Maintain and Manage Amazon QuickSights Dashboards pertaining to Infor workforce management
Who you are:
- Proficient skills with SQL with the ability to write efficient queries
- Data Warehousing, Big Data, ETL, data lake development
- Familiarity with Amazon Quick sights
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing pipelines and reports
- Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and data segmentation techniques
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications particularly excel
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills (presentations, documents, emails)
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment
