Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Print Room Specialist reporting into the Print Room Manager. This is a client facing role and requires excellent customer service skills along with a thorough knowledge of the digital print and finishing process.
As part of a team, the Print Room Operator will cover all aspects of digital print and finishing of products and ensure timely delivery of quality printed collateral. The Print Room operator will ensure that Health & Safety regulations are followed and ensure that Print Job forms are completed correctly.
More about the role:
The role will encompass End to End Job Print Production (Print to Delivery).Manage any equipment faults unless requires escalation. Print Quality Checks alongside approval of proof copies. Daily calibration of print room equipment. Close liaison with Proposal team on print/delivery deadlines.
Who you are:
- Good working knowledge of colour, B&W and wide format printing, customer service, finishing and despatch
- Good working knowledge of digital print and finishing processes
- Quick learner
- Punctual and Reliable
- A good working knowledge of all standard Microsoft office programs & Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent communication skills (via face to face / e mail / phone)
- Proficient team player
- Experience at operating to deadlines under tight time scales & pressurised environments
- Ability to demonstrate composure & self confidence in pressurised situations
- Educated to A level standard or equivalent in work experience
