Event Operations Coordinator - Southbank Centre

Location: Southbank Centre, London, SE1 8XX
Rate of Pay: £35,000 per annum
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days

About the role:

This role combines event operations support with administrative coordination. Working closely with the Senior Events Advisor, you will gain hands-on experience across the full event delivery process while helping to keep operations organised and running smoothly.

The position is designed as a development opportunity for someone looking to build a career in event operations. You will be involved in both the practical and administrative aspects of event delivery, with ongoing support and guidance from the wider team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of events.
  • Assist with event administration, scheduling and documentation.
  • Shadow the Senior Events Advisor to gain operational experience and insight into event delivery.
  • Help manage event logistics, supplier coordination and event records.
  • Support communication with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with operational duties on event days.
  • Maintain accurate event records, reports and administrative systems.
