Event Planner - Maternity Cover Contract

£26,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Event Planner to join us here at Levy where we manage catering operations at Swansea.com Stadium, the home of Swansea City Football Club & Ospreys Rugby Union. This partnership, encompasses matchday experiences as well as conference and event catering.

A significant focus of this collaboration is sustainability. Levy is committed to achieving Climate Net Zero targets, which align with Swansea City's goals. Initiatives include increasing plant-based menu options, reducing single-use plastics, and minimizing food waste.

Through this collaboration we aim to provide exceptional culinary experiences at Swansea.com Stadium while promoting environmental responsibility.


More about the role:

  • Liaising with clients to identify, propose and confirm all event catering requirements
  • Planning the delivery with the site operations and wider team to include locations, timings and numbers whilst ensuring all catering requirements are effectively communicated
  • Adhering to the Levy’s pricing policies to maximise catering revenues and identify upselling opportunities
  • Administer all event related correspondence ensuring all contractual documents, deposits and final invoices are issued and paid according to company guidelines
  • Be fully conversant with the details of the event and sales handover
  • Establish and maintain good client relationships and regular contact, ensuring that there is comprehensive understanding of the client requirements
  • Create full and concise Event Catering Proposals to ensure these are seasonally appropriate and the menu fits with the guests/delegate demographic

  • A self-confident, approachable individual who can prioritise, excellent organisational and time management skills
  • You will hold a professional and confident telephone manner and have proficiency in the use of Delphi system
  • Achieving compliance, customer feedback and complaint handling will also be part of your role
