Event Sales Executive - The Role

The Event Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in maximising revenue, nurturing client relationships, and delivering outstanding events on non–match days. You will manage the full event cycle—from initial sales enquiry and conversion through to planning, on-site delivery, and post-event follow-up—ensuring every client receives a best-in-class experience that drives repeat business and referrals.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, this role requires a commercially minded, proactive events professional with strong organisational skills and a passion for hospitality and sales.

What we're looking for

  • A motivated and commercially savvy events professional with a passion for hospitality and client service.
  • Proven experience in event planning, venue sales, or hospitality roles—preferably within a stadium, hotel, or events venue.
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong multitasker with exceptional organisational and planning abilities.
  • Proactive, energetic, and driven to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office; Delphi knowledge is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to delivering high standards.
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • A qualification in Events, Business, or Hospitality is beneficial.
