Executive Assistant – Compass Group

Role Summary

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to a senior executive within Compass Group. This dynamic position requires excellence in organization, discretion, communication, and a proactive approach to managing complex schedules, priorities, and confidential matters. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted extension of the executive, fostering a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the executive’s calendar, coordinate meetings, and organize appointments, ensuring optimal time management and prioritization.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, prepare itineraries, handle accommodations, and process travel expenses and reimbursements.
  • Screen and direct incoming communications, including emails, calls, and correspondence, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread reports, presentations, and communications with precision and professionalism.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.
  • Liaise with senior leaders, external partners, and stakeholders, representing the executive with confidence and diplomacy.
  • Manage confidential information with integrity, safeguarding sensitive company and personal data.
  • Oversee and execute special projects as assigned, working collaboratively across departments within Compass Group.
  • Support the planning and execution of executive events and company initiatives.
  • Assist with personal tasks and ad hoc requests to enable the executive’s focus on strategic priorities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant, personal assistant, or in a comparable administrative role supporting senior leadership, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills; able to manage competing priorities with poise and efficiency.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with video conferencing and collaboration tools.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with acute attention to detail.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities; proactive, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
