We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in 14Forty on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.
As a Facilities Assistant, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of facility management with the wider facilities team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the Grounds Maintenance duties are carried out at the GE Redhill St Leonards and Lord Nelson Buildings along with the GE Site’s at Renshaw Drive and Mustang Drive Stafford to the highest standards using the following table as a schedule. *Summer Months to be April to end September – Winter Months to be October to end March.
- Ensure Window Cleaning and Fascia Cleaning duties are carried out at the GE Redhill St Leonards and Lord Nelson Buildings to the highest standards a reach and wash systems for external areas and appropriate microfibre stingray and blades for internal areas.
- Ensure the rear years at the GE Redhill St Leonards and Lord Nelson Buildings are kept clean and tidy to the highest standards using the following guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment is safely stored in a clean and well-maintained condition in between use.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is used in all operations.
- Ensure best practice is always maintained following Health and Safety instructions
- Build partnerships with onsite client through liaison and engagement.
Our ideal Facilities Assistant will:
- To be polite, professional, and friendly always, with customers, clients and colleagues
- In-depth understanding of grounds maintenance and upkeep needs
- Ability to maintain a clean and functional workspace
- Ability to lift or move heavy equipment
- Organisation skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to use lawn mowers and power tools and a strong understanding of water and waste systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A high level of customer care is adhered to at all times
- To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
Desirable
- Prior Experience in a Horticultural role
- NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Pesticides.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in operating a reach and wash system
