Facilities Manager
Location: Whiteley
Salary: Up to £41,460 per annum, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, flexibility required for business needs
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of our key support services across cleaning, catering, security, and reception, while also maintaining oversight of hard services delivered by a third-party provider. This is a pivotal role, ensuring that all service operations run to the highest standards, creating a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for staff, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the soft services teams, ensuring effective delivery across cleaning, catering, security, and reception operations.
- Oversee third-party management of hard services, maintaining strong operational understanding to ensure service quality and compliance.
- Manage supplier contracts and monitor KPIs/SLAs, driving continuous improvement across all service lines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including health & safety, food hygiene, SIA regulations, and building maintenance standards.
- Develop and implement policies, schedules, and quality audits to maintain consistently high standards.
- Effectively manage budgets, resources, and staffing, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, responding to queries, feedback, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Champion a culture of excellence, safety, and customer service across all soft and hard service functions.
About You
- Proven experience managing multiple services essential.
- Experience managing catering services desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of M&E services and sub-contracted management are essential.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and supplier contracts.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
