Overall Purpose of the Role
Finance Administrator role to support the Location Accountant / Finance Business Partner in supporting the on-site Team, in understanding their financial performance, assist in driving performance and monitor and control change initiatives.

Finance Assistant - The Role
- Process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy, correct coding and timely payment
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including supplier queries and reconciliations
- Support control account reconciliations
- Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Support payroll processes and related reconciliations where required
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with internal controls and audit requirements
- Support racecourse and operational teams with finance queries
- Assist during month-end and year-end close processes
- Ad-hoc finance administration and project support as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role preferred
- Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Experience in a multi-site or operational environment is an advantage
