Are you passionate about food ,drink and service ,want to be part of an award-winning hospitality team- and still make it home for dinner? We are looking for a General Manager to join our team in London. This position involved lone working. This site services 40-60 people each day.
Location: W1T 3JJ
Rate of Pay: £36,000 per annum plus travel
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, Shifts from 8am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Service Excellence:
- Ensure the site is presented to the highest standards, maintaining quality of equipment and display
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Looking after hospitality on site
- Servicing Tea Points
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for clients and guests.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and respond proactively to feedback
- Support planning and execution of events
Operational Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and presentation of food delivered from the central production kitchen.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), including wastage and plate counts
- Order all food items to site
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations including HACCP, allergen management, and temperature control.
- Maintain rigorous health & safety standards in line with company and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audit checks and risk assessments, addressing any non-compliance swiftly
Financial and Administration:
- Monitor and manage unit budgets, stock control, and wastage
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for deliveries, compliance checks, and staff performance
- Liaise with central kitchen and support teams to ensure seamless coordination
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in contract catering or hospitality management.
- Strong understanding of food safety and health & safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Happy to work alone
