Grounds Person
Location: Helensburgh
Pay rate: £15.03 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you hands-on, hardworking, and enjoy working outdoors? We’re looking for a Grounds Person to join our team and help ensure our outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard, remaining clean, safe and well-presented all year round.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining lawns, hedges, shrubs and flower beds
- Carrying out grass cutting, weeding and litter picking duties
- Operating grounds maintenance tools and machinery safely
- Supporting seasonal activities such as planting, leaf clearance, gritting and snow clearing
- Working to high standards while following health & safety requirements at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience (preferred)
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility for early starts, seasonal overtime and winter on-call duties
