Group Chef Manager - Monday - Friday

Location: Dunstable

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 7am to 3.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the culinary teams across various sites.
    • Monitoring the quality of the food and service
  • Menu Development: Plan and update seasonal menus that are innovative, appealing, and cost-effective.

  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards.
    • Leading your F&B team and setting standards
  • Financial Management: Control food costs, manage inventory, monitor budgets, and contribute to the financial profitability of the operations.

  • Staff Management: Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of the catering and kitchen staff.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and legal regulations are met and maintained.

  • Customer & Client Relations: Drive excellence in service, ensure high customer satisfaction, and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Meeting the client’s needs as well as your financial targets
    • Liaising with the client
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities for business growth, develop creative themed events, and align culinary concepts with the overall company vision. 

About the role:

  • We are looking for an experienced Chef Manager or Group Chef Manager to manage a team of 12 across 2 sites with 3 outlets (2 restaurants and 1 coffee shop) on one campus 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have contract catering experience of large or multi sites
  • Must be agile , innovative and forward thinking 
  • Passionate about fresh food
