Job Introduction

We are seeking a hands-on HR Administrator on a 7‑month fixed-term contract to provide day‑to‑day HR administrative support to our onsite operation and to our schools all over Ireland. This is a fully onsite position, located in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, with no remote or hybrid working available.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, process-driven HR work and is confident managing high-volume administrative tasks in a fast-paced operational setting, with guidance and coaching to accelerate your HR experience.

This is a fully onsite role supporting managers and employees with core HR processes, documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate:

  • Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries from managers and employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files in line with GDPR and company requirements.
  • Provide recruitment administration support, including posting roles, screening CVs, scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate new starter onboarding by completing contracts, right-to-work checks, inductions and liaising with central L&D teams.
  • Administer employee lifecycle documentation including starters, leavers, role changes and contract amendments.
  • Support manual payroll preparation through time and attendance checks, holiday accrual tracking and timesheet validation.
  • Manage administration of the time and attendance system and respond to manager queries.
  • Assist with temporary labour and agency worker administration, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Provide administrative support for disciplinary and grievance processes, including note-taking and filing.
  • Prepare seasonal lay-off documentation and support employee communications as required.
  • Assist with HR reporting and data collation for internal and central HR teams.
  • Work closely with onsite management, the HR Business Partner and central HR functions to support effective operational delivery.

What a successful candidate looks like:

  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator or Assistant role
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Irish employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Confidence working with manual HR processes and high-volume documentation
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Professional, approachable communication style
  • Competent IT skills (MS Office, Excel, HR systems or trackers)
  • Ability to work independently within clear processes while escalating issues appropriately
