As part of our continued growth, we are look for a HR Assistant to join our business. Part of the HR team the HR Assistant will support the HR Business Partner, providing general HR, Administration and Recruitment support to managers, employees, and workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR Administration support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding and leaver support
- Support Managers and Regional People Consultants with advice on employee and worker relations in line with Constellation HR policies and procedures and current legislation
- Support with, and conduct where necessary, employee relations investigations and hearings
- Work with HR Business Partner to design, deliver and drive HR projects, including employee and worker engagement and wellbeing activities
- Support with the planning, delivery and review of training for the permenant Constellation team
- Support Constellation Managers with the performance review process and, where required, with performance improvement processes
- Liaise with Payroll team on absences, parental leave requests and pay queries
- Support Managers with long term absence, parental leave and team management requests
Skills/Knowledge
- Experience working in HR for a hospitality and/or variable staffing teams covering HR Administration and HR advisory work
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards, beneficial but not essential
- Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law, especially regarding Workers
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Highly organised with good prioritisation skills
- Self-motivating to work independently
- Experience with building remote relationships
This role is working 5 in 7 with some weekend required. Travel to regional office and sites will be required, including working from home.
