HR Manager
We have a exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join our team based at Whiston Hospital to provide a HR support service for all service managers across the two hospital sites. The successful candidate will report into the Regional HRBP and have a direct reporting line into the Contract Director. Both the HR and Operational Teams work in conjunction to ensure operational and HR alignment. This site is complex due to managing employees with different terms and conditions and also different policies however due to this no two days are ever the same which makes the role exciting and very fast paced.

HR Manager
As the HR Manager, your key responsibilities will be include the below:
- Line manager a small HR & Training Team
- Provide HR advice to the Medirest onsite team, be the first point of contact for all HR issues
- Liaise regularly with the with the central recruitment team
- Work closely with the onsite Unions in relation to any ER issues/organisational change
- Management of short and long term absences
- Provide HR reports for the client
- Facilitate monthly meetings with service managers to determine HR activity
- Support the managers in the recruitment process
- Manage the annual appraisal review and mid-term review process
- Manage the succession planning and talent management process in conjunction with the HR Business Partner
- Manage the reward and recognition piece
- Attend monthly client and compass meetings as required
Who you are:
Knowledge and Skills
- At least 5 years HR experience
- Experience of managing a team
- Knowledge of the service industry, working directly with staff
- Must be a team leader, able to motivate and communicate with the team
Education and Qualifications
- Must have gained GCSE/GCE/CSE in English and Maths
- Must have CIPD Level 5 qualification
- PC Literate
Experience
- Dealing with employees
- Dealing with clients
- Working closely with Unions
Personal
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the business
- Able to and willing to occasionally stay away for meetings/courses etc
What we'll give:

- Salary up to 36k per annum
- 40 hours per week
