Location: WC2R 0EX
Rate of Pay: £42,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 7am - 3.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations for lunch service (approx. 600 covers weekly)
- Plan, develop, and execute buffet-style menus in line with The Source concept and standards
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including training, scheduling, and performance supervision
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP compliance)
- Conduct regular stock takes and manage inventory control
- Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and control kitchen budget
- Liaise with suppliers, place orders, and ensure quality of delivered products
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with management on seasonal menu updates and special events
