Job Title - Food Production Unit Head Chef
Sector / Business Area / Department - Copper Pan Kitchen
Reporting to - Operations Manager
Location - CPK D22 A5D0, Also responsible for our food offer in our CPK City location
The individual will plan, organise and direct the preparation, cooking & chilling of production ensuring that the company’s reputation for quality is enhanced with customers and clients in mind at all times. Also required to implement and maintain food monitoring procedures to facilitate budgetary control and to monitor all costs involved in the kitchen against agreed budgets.
Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach right through to the final product.
Responsible for all aspects of food safety for a food production facility (853 licence), Health & safety of the team, COSHH along with development & succession planning within the team

Overall Purpose of the role
- Perform a variety of food preparation, cooking, chilling, assembly, plus manual tasks and other general duties to ensure the smooth running of the CPK kitchen’s and maintain a high standard of health, safety and food hygiene in addition to a quality consistent product.
- Proactively lead improvement ideas and plans that are innovative and practical
- Manage the production Kitchen from Good’s Inwards to goods Outwards. Ensuring consistent quality customer experience
- To ensure all food assembled & checked for taste, presentation at packing to the quality to the required standard in line with SOP.
- Quality Check product as per standard operating standard
- Responsible as an advocate to ensure the compliance of Health, Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations.
- Complete daily checks and managing any defects with the facility
- Comply & lead Company policy and procedure in wearing PPE and following required health Safety protocols across your team.
