Job Introduction

ExCeL London, the exhibition and international convention centre, isthe host venue for a variety of events from award winning exhibitionsand conferences to international association meetings, product launches,banquets, award ceremonies, sporting events and great days out.

Levy Restaurants UK are looking to recruit a Hospitality & Events Sales Manager to support the internal client relationship and growth of our catering and eventscontract within the site.

More about the role:

  • To develop and lead future sales opportunities as well as oversee retention bids working alongside the Commercial teams at ExCelwithin a Levy Restaurants venue
  • To inspire exceptional service to our clients and guests through the Levy Difference
  • To facilitate sales, client and contractual relationships ensuring that we are true partners in their business
  • Be fully responsible for strategically planning small to large scale multi-million pound events and conferences alongside our clients
  • Execute business tactics as identified in annual marketing plan
  • Maintains a strong relationship with client during coordination, execution and evaluation stages of services.
  • To review business performance and ensure the delivery of key financial targets
  • To demonstrate full alignment to our Levy Restaurants visions and values by doing the right things and celebrating success
  • Implementing and adhering to performance standards

Who you are:

  • Extensive experience in a demanding hospitality environment
  • Experience overseeing and selling large, complex events space and supporting logistical challenges
  • Event and salesexperience within a large venue
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Self starter,ambitious and driven to succeed
  • Ability to work to strict pressured deadlines
  • Creative and innovativein thinking and approach
  • Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
  • A can-do attitude
  • Complex exhibitions / conference experience
  • Experience of working with multi clients/stakeholders
  • High degree of IT proficiency
