Hotel Cleaning Supervisor
£16.75 per hour

We are recruiting an experienced and proactive Hotel Cleaning Supervisor to lead a housekeeping team in a busy hotel environment.
You will oversee the delivery of a safe, clean and hygienic service, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved. This is a hands‑on supervisory role in a fast‑paced setting, focused on team performance and guest satisfaction. The role includes physical activity such as manual handling and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team to meet service standards
- Plan daily work, allocate tasks and manage cleaning schedules
- Promote Health & Safety and safe working practices, including COSHH
- Complete rotas, timesheets and basic paperwork accurately
- Carry out quality checks and address issues promptly
- Train, coach and develop team members
- Manage stock, equipment and resources efficiently
- Support housekeeping duties when required
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach
- Experience supervising or supporting a cleaning team
- Good attention to detail and customer‑focused mindset
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in a cleaning environment
- Flexible approach to working hours
- High standards of personal hygiene and presentation
