Location: WC2E 9DD
Salary: £17.00 per hour
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week – 5 days our of 7, shifts between 09:00am and latest finish 10:30pm (rota basis), flexibility is a must
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the head chef, leading, and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene
- Responsible for training and development of up to team of 5 team members
- Foster a positive and efficient working environment, leading by example and motivating the kitchen teams at each site
- Maintaining high food quality standards
- Assist with ordering supplies, managing inventory, and controlling stock levels within budget for all three kitchens
- Help manage budgets and control food costs, ensuring profitability for each area
Ideal candidate Junior Sous Chef :
- Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
- Have experience as a Junior Sous Chef equivalent role with a strong culinary background
- Have strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for food to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen
- Very well organised and good time-management skills
- Comes from hi end- restaurant background
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Have willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend
