Job Introduction
We're looking for a Kitchen Porter to carry out cleaning of all kitchen areas and equipment, in accordance with the Head Chef’s instructions, and in compliance with the Compass Group hygiene, health & safety procedures on a part time basis, contracted to 27.5 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform all cleaning duties as per the rota
- Report any equipment and/or building fabric faults and any hygiene, health and safety hazards to my line Manager
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene
- Wear the correct uniform and personal protective equipment, ensuring it is looked after
- Comply with all Company hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Work in a safe and tidy manner at all times, ensuring I consider my colleagues, clients and customers
- Adhere to the company Health, safety and food safety manual
- Comply with all Company hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations and company and unit policies concerning environmental issues
- Successfully complete my health and safety, food hygiene and environmental training
- Adhere to the Company Handbook
