Overview
We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Matchday Hospitality Manager to lead the delivery of first-class hospitality at Aviva Stadium. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing high-profile events, and is committed to providing an outstanding guest experience.
Role Purpose
As Hospitality Manager, you will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering hospitality services across matchdays and supporting on non-matchday events. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure premium food and beverage standards, and play a key role in creating memorable experiences for all guests. Your ability to lead from the front, uphold Levy standards, and enhance client satisfaction will be critical to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, event organisers, and internal teams to define hospitality requirements
- Develop comprehensive operational plans to ensure seamless service delivery
- Lead, motivate, and manage hospitality staff including supervisors, servers, and casuals
- Support team development through ongoing training and performance feedback
- Work closely with the culinary team to align menus with guest expectations and dietary needs and ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative food and beverage offerings
- Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and minimise waste
- Drive a culture of service excellence and attention to detail
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities to maximise profitability additionally provide financial reporting and analysis as required.
- Explore thew use of technology to bring new and innovative ideas on the delivery of food and beverage services
- Lead post-event reviews to capture feedback and implement service enhancements
- Stay informed on industry trends and champion innovative ideas
- Lead set ups for events ensuring events are set to venue standards within agreed timelines
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in catering and F&B service delivery for premium clientele within a stadium, hotel, or large venue
- Experienced in staff training and team development
- Passionate about delivering world-class guest experiences
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Work autonomously alongside similarly motivated colleagues and demonstrate initiative
- Financially astute with knowledge of budgets, cost control, and reporting
- Up to date with trends in food, beverage, technology, and guest services
