As an integral member of the offshore team a HDA/ Steward contributes to the provision of quality laundry services, accommodation, mess room and janitorial services as well as heli-deck services whilst adhering to industry health and safety policies at all times.
Who you are:
You should also hold the following essential certification:
- Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET)
- Fit to Train (FTT)
- Compressed Air - Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)
- Bi-Deltoid Measurements (Shoulder Measurements)
- OGUK Medical with Food Handlers
- Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST)
- Emergency Response Team Member Medical (ERT parts 1 and 2)
- HDA Initial/ HOIT or HDA Further
- Heli-deck Emergency Response Team Member (HERTM)
- Helicopter Refuelling
The following would also be advantageous as desirable certification:
- Offshore First Aid
- Advanced Offshore First Aid
- Coxswain Twinfall
- Coxswain Freefall
- EPIC training/ experience
