Pantry and Vending Operations Manager
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to lead the delivery of vending, micromarket, and pantry services across a high-profile London estate.

This is a visible, client-facing role requiring a strong balance of operational leadership, technical capability, and commercial awareness. You will take full ownership of service performance, ensuring equipment reliability, high service standards, and a consistently excellent customer experience.


The Role

As Pantry and Vending Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance and delivery of services across multiple locations.

You will lead from the front, ensuring machines remain operational, teams are effectively deployed, and service standards are consistently met. You will also play a key role in maintaining client confidence through proactive communication and dependable delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of vending, micromarket, and pantry operations across the estate

Maximise machine uptime through preventative maintenance and fast fault resolution

Carry out routine troubleshooting and first-line equipment repairs, escalating only complex issues

Lead, manage, and develop a multi-skilled team, ensuring flexibility across vending, pantry, coffee bar, and food service operations

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, availability, and presentation at all times

Use data and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements

Manage suppliers and engineers, ensuring agreed service levels are consistently achieved

Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and communicate effectively on service performance

Drive commercial performance through stock control, waste management, and pricing awareness

Ensure full compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company standards


About You

You will have proven experience in vending, retail, hospitality, or facilities management within a fast-paced and service-led environment

You are a confident team leader with the ability to manage people, suppliers, and operational challenges effectively

You have a hands-on approach and are comfortable diagnosing and resolving equipment issues

You are highly organised, with strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills

You understand the importance of compliance, safety, and consistent service standards

You are commercially aware and focused on delivering efficient and effective operations

Experience with vending or micromarket systems is desirable but not essential
