A new opportunity has arisen as a Payroll & HR Administrator to join our Medirest family within our busy healthcare setting. We are looking for new members to join our highly dedicated team, delivering outstanding service for all Hospital visitors.

Payroll & HR Administrator

  • Collect, analyse and input data into payroll systems in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist in the reconciliation of weekly payroll data, taking remedial action where appropriate.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve any queries and build relationships
  • Using in-house systems to support departments 
  • Continually review and improve processes to ensure an efficient approach
  • Supporting with administration related tasks for all departments when required.
  • General administration such as filing, photocopying, laminating, answering emails / phone calls, and data entry.
  • Support the HR Manager, ensuring all elements of the day to day HR administrative tasks are carried out, including the maintenance of the HR system (HR Portal).
  • Assist with notetaking in all meetings as required.
  • Ensure documents and trackers, relating to ER casework, probation, PDR’s, daily absences, short term absence and long term absence are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Support with recruitment and selection on site.
  • Support with the delivery of training/inductions where necessary.
  • Support to carry out quarterly personnel file audit.
  • To carry out any other reasonable request which supports the Contract.

Who you are:

We’re seeking a motivated, driven and interested finance administrator to join our team. The perfect candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience within a similar role is advantageous
  • Ability to interpret and analyse numerical data.
  • Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain a high level of confidentiality   
  • Exceptional organisation skills with the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.   
  • To possess knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of Nexus and SAP would be beneficial, although not essential.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.  
  • Excellent communication skills
  • This position is subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check; costs met by the employer.  
  • As per government legislation, anyone employed to work in healthcare must be double COVID 19 vaccinated or medically exempt from April 2022 Evidence will be required at the point of interview, either by presenting a medical exemption certificate or a letter downloaded via the NHS App evidencing two vaccinations

What we'll give:

Payroll & HR Administrator

  • £11.07 per hour, 40 hours per week 
  • Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
