We’re now seeking a passionate, strategic, and people-focused People Operations Business Partner to help drive engagement, development, and operational excellence across our dynamic regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement
Foster a culture where people feel respected, valued, and empowered to do their best work.
Champion engagement initiatives, including surveys and stay interviews, and ensure insights lead to meaningful action.
Partner with leadership to drive initiatives that enhance retention, motivation, and belonging.
Align with Compass Group HQ to ensure compensation and benefits are competitive and equitable.
Employee Relations
Take a proactive, people-first approach to employee relations.
Coach and advise managers on policies, conditions of employment, and best practice approaches.
Lead or support investigations and issue resolution with integrity and fairness.
Build capability among leaders to manage ER matters effectively and consistently.
Talent Development
Partner with managers to onboard, develop, and retain top talent.
Guide regional talent workshops and oversee resulting action plans.
Support career pathways, learning initiatives, and leadership capability building.
Ensure the organisation leverages Compass Group’s extensive L&D programs.
People Analytics & Systems
Analyse people data to drive strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
Manage HR systems and processes, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and automation.
Collaborate with global People teams to share insights and best practice.
Talent Acquisition (Support)
Partner with local teams to attract and onboard the best talent in the market.
Ensure recruitment processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with our employer brand.
Support the end-to-end onboarding experience to set new hires up for success.
What You’ll Bring
Degree or equivalent professional experience.
7–10 years’ HR experience in a generalist or business partner role.
Strong stakeholder management skills — able to influence across all levels of the organisation.
Experience leading teams or projects in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Deep understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
A passion for creating exceptional employee experiences.
Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
Calm, solution-oriented approach under pressure.
