In this key leadership role, you’ll champion our people-first culture, ensuring fairness, integrity, and excellence in everything we do. Working closely with our Managing Director and Heads of Department, you’ll drive engagement, wellbeing, and development—creating an environment where our team thrives.

Responsibilities 
  • Manage HR processes autonomously, achieving personal and business goals.
  • Oversee and implement the Food & Drink People Piece (TPP) and business excellence program (Signatures).
  • Provide proactive people support, ensuring training, performance, and development needs are met.
  • Advise and coach on people management processes, aligning with culture and legal frameworks.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and exit interviews, collaborating with KERB+ for placements.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, time and attendance tracking, and leave management per business needs.
  • Champion EDI initiatives, staff wellbeing, and effective communication, linking with culture teams.
  • Monitor performance, budgets, sustainability, and strategic business growth through regular reviews.
  • Calibrate L&D appraisals to support ongoing talent development.

Requirements
  • Proven HR Expertise – Extensive experience in HR operations, including payroll, employment contracts, TUPE processes, and overall HR management.

  • Qualified & Experienced – You hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or bring equivalent experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Strategic Leadership – Ability to define and implement a clear people strategy, fostering an environment of growth, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional Communication & Stakeholder Management – Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all levels, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.

  • Resilient & Solution-Oriented – Capable of managing complex team dynamics, addressing challenges, and implementing pragmatic solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Engaging & Inspirational Leadership – A people-focused leader who empowers and motivates teams, enhancing employee experience and driving commercial success.

  • Change Management Expertise – A proactive approach to innovation and process improvement, effectively guiding teams through organizational change.

  • Agile & Operationally Engaged – Willingness to be actively present on the floor, engaging with team members and ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and business operations.

  • Industry Knowledge – Extensive experience in multi-site, elevated dining, and high-end hospitality environments, with a deep understanding of operational needs
