We are currently recruiting for a Regional Executive Chef to work across our Gather & Gather and Venues estate.

Location: Hybrid role covering a 50-mile radius of Peterborough and Cambridge
Rate of pay: £50,000 per annum 
Car allowance: Fully electric car or £450 per month
Start date: From 1st June
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (with very occasional weekends)

As Regional Executive Chef, you will lead and inspire all culinary activity across the region, driving exceptional food quality, innovative menu development, and consistency across every site. You will play a key role in coaching and developing our chefs, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout. You will oversee 43 sites and lead a team of 10, creating a strong, collaborative, and high-performing culinary culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a variety of projects to drive culinary excellence in partnership with our executive chefs
  • Support and develop the food offers across the business
  • Menu development, testing and validating all new recipes working in line with our culinary team
  • Building rapport with other chefs within the business and share ideas, innovation and best practice
  • Lead the way when new client initiatives are relevant to food
  • Provide direction and expertise to the chefs and operators by promoting quality of life and great place to work strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the Company mission and values
  • Motivate and lead a high performing culinary team to achieve their objectives and our culinary strategy
  • Support new business opportunities where applicable

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • High level of culinary & retail experience - stadia experience is preferred
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clear and effective leadership style
  • Ability to analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovate solutions/approaches
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to adhere to all health & safety practices
  • Food safety L3, & IOSH
  • City & Guilds diploma or equivalent
