Regional Manager

As a Regional Manager, you will be supporting your managers and teams onsite by getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities, you will be drawn to satisfaction from managing and training your team. The Regional Manager will support their team in providing a professional food service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.

More about the role:

  • Understand and deliver all contractual terms
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Identify any additional opportunities and discuss with line manager
  • Analyse and effectively manage all in unit costs.
  • Monitor and manage GP across all units
  • Effectively minimise any agency and overtime spend
  • Ensure budgets are understood and achieved
  • Ensure all costs are managed effectively within budget
  • Deliver the profit for the region through leading the Unit Managers in delivery of their financial targets
  • Implement all relevant HSE procedures within each unit and review them as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all HSE incidents are correctly reported and investigated with relevant reviews of work procedures.
  • Maintain up to date training records for all employees under your control.
  • Report HSE issues beyond your control to your line manager.
  • Implement the requirements of HSE campaigns that are initiated to improve HSE performance.
  • Led the implementation of change programmes to deliver operational benefits
  • Plan and implement the strategy of growth and retention of new and existing business in each sector through leading the development of long-term account plans, including a rolling lifecycle review process
  • Ensure that management continually develop, implement and monitor activities that will enhance team development and engagement and loyalty
  • Ensure contract is compliant and run commercially in line with net growth and retention targets
  • Develop and maintain client relationships

Who you are:

  • Proven experience in managing successful teams remotely
  • Multi-site operational experience in a similar role
  • Experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results
  • Track record of growing sales and retaining business
  • Foodservice background
  • Previous budget management and/or profit & loss responsibility
  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior stakeholders
  • Can demonstrate commercial awareness
  • Experience in highly commercial and price sensitive markets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • I.T & computer literate 
  • Culinary background ideal
  • Self-motivated and ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Project / Change management experience
