Research Assistant

Up to £25,000 per annum dependent on experience

Hybrid -2/3 days on-site per week

As Research Assistant you will be provided with full training to enable you to work with our Inside Sales Lead Generation, Marketing teams and Sales Community to uncover and source information and new opportunities to drive business, grow the sales pipelines and ensure the company's goals and targets are met.

Our Research Assistant will be responsible for;

  • Supporting the Head of Data & Research on research projects into new market data, competitor/market analysis, other adhoc requests 
  • Researching and identifying all criteria needed for new sales opportunities, to be passed on to lead generation team through various methods such as calling, online research, utilising databases etc.
  • Cross-checking new data with existing data in the existing CRM system
  • Supporting internal sales team with data cleansing, updating, and organising within existing systems
  • Circulating data/KPI activity reports weekly to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Sales inbox’s/internal lead  scheme within the team to backfill as required
  • Data Analysis, Comparison and preparation for importing to relevant systems
  • Supporting Head of  Data & Research put together research feedback packs as required
  • Formatting Data & Research into designed/formatted documents
  • Help manage an in-bound sales enquiry phone line 

The successful Research Assistant will have

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage your time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong work ethic
  • Confidence in making calls for research purposes
  • Data focussed; experience working with Excel and working knowledge of data analysis formulae would be beneficial
  • The ability to work with a variety of systems
  • Comfortable with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and visualising data
  • Confident using Canva (other design tools)
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting/communicating with executives & directors
  • Demonstrates initiative and has a proactive approach
  • Confident in receiving inbound calls – dealing with customer facing enquiries/questions
